The Certificate in Advanced Methodology (CAM) is a course issued by the International House World Organization and accredited by the Cambridge Assessment English department that increases the teacher’s theoretical knowledge of teaching, as well as enhances their practical and self-analysis skills.
CAM in ELT is the new In-service Certificate in Advanced Methodology in English Language Teaching (CAM). CAM in ELT offers the high level of methodological input which:

Because of the high level of input involved, the course is aimed at teachers with at least one year’s full-time experience. The focus of the course is General English to Adults, and the input can easily be transferred to other sub areas in ELT (e.g. Business English, One to One, ESP, Teenagers, etc).
There are 75 hours of input. A further 90 hours (at least) will be spent on other work such as recommended reading, homework tasks and classroom-based action research. In addition to the input and post-session tasks, participants will have some reading to do before the sessions, a series of homework tasks and an end-of-course assignment. The course is delivered in a flexible way, combining both synchronous and asynchronous work, over 4 months, and taught by qualified CELTA, Delta and MA tutors. Participants are assessed on a portfolio comprising of homework tasks and a final assignment.

Although a part-time course, please note that the course is intensive. The work is all based on practical teaching, based on teaching learners in your own context or borrowed groups of learners..
